When it comes to tanking Lady Deathwhisper and Lord Marrowgar in the Icecrown Citadel's heroic mode, there are some specific strategies you should follow to ensure a smooth and successful battle. In this article, we'll break down the key tactics for each fight.

Gunship Battle

The Gunship battle is an intense and chaotic encounter that requires careful attention to detail. If you're jumping onto the enemy ship as part of your tank's rotation, make sure to focus on taunting the boss only. You can safely ignore the other adds on the enemy ship, as they pose little threat to the raid.

Lady Deathwhisper

When facing Lady Deathwhisper as an off-tank, it's essential to generate some threat when you have nothing else to do. This will help prevent the boss from focusing its attention on another player. When adds spawn, make sure to pick them up and contribute to the fight by helping with frostbolt interrupts.

As a main tank, your priority is to generate as much threat as possible before insignificance stacks reach five. Interrupting frostbolts is also crucial, so try to do so whenever you can.

When Lady Deathwhisper loses her mana shield, it's critical to pick up cult fanatics and deformed fanatics immediately. However, avoid facing them towards the raid at all costs, as their cleave ability deals significant damage. Instead, use a taunt to pull them away from the group or try to generate threat on the boss.

Lord Marrowgar

In this fight, it's essential to keep Lord Marrowgar facing away from the raid at all times. This will reduce the damage taken from his cleave ability. As the only tank in front of him, you'll need to work closely with your fellow tank to ensure that he remains focused on you.
